Nose A beautifully mature champagne with a floral scent of jasmine and hawthorn, underlined by hints of red fruit typical of the Côte des Bars. An aftertaste of citrus, orange and lemon. A special elegance and a very structured complexity.
Flavour Peach, punctuated by notes of sweet, roasted, mentholated and smoky spices. The champagne is remarkably balanced and full-bodied, with the Pinot dominating the fruit and delicious bitters. The Chardonnay adds a touch of freshness and elegance in a round, full-bodied style.

What else makes Gautherot champagne more than special?
The champagne comes exclusively from our family vineyard just a few minutes from the estate, limiting the carbon footprint and cultivated for over 30 years using sustainable viticulture methods.
- The champagne is triple sustainability certified.
- All the work seeks to find an ecological, human and qualitative balance. The symbiosis with nature offers us a healthy champagne.
- No CMR products (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic).
- No chemical weeding: the pickaxe is used after the tractor has ploughed the soil.
- Choice of organic soil improvers.
- Local, French or if failing that, European partners (e.g. selection of Portuguese cork processed in France).
- Reduction of waste at source & choice of recycled and recyclable items(e.g. paper labels, recycled kraft cardboard, bottles made from recycled and recyclable glass).
- No frost protection methods are used, as they are too polluting and do harm watercourses.
- An in-depth approach to social responsibility to ensure the well-being and safety of our employees. Ecology and ethics are necessarily collective, hence our involvement in local associations.
